Sourdough Discard Pizza
Ingredients
Sourdough discard (amount depends on how big your cast iron is)
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Italian seasoning
Tomato sauce
Shredded Cheese
Pizza toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Pre-heat your cast iron in the oven at 400F
- Once your cast iron pan is hot, remove and cover the bottom of pan in olive oil
- Add your inactive sourdough discard to the pan and spread evenly until bottom of the pain is coated.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on top of the discard in the pain.
- Place pan back in oven and cook for 15 minutes or until the discard is cooked through.
- Take out and add pizza toppings on top.
- Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Remove and enjoy hot
