Homemade Ice cream

Equipment

  • kitchen aid mixer
  • ice cream attachment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 TBSP vanilla bean paste
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Pre freeze the kitchen aid ice cream attachment at least overnight. This has to be cold or the ingredients will not turn into ice cream.
  • The day of, add your ingredients into a separate bowl and ensure they are combined.
  • Take out your kitchen aid ice cream attachment and set it up on the kitchen air mixer, add your ingredients to the ice cream mixer and let combine together until it reaches an ice cream consistency, about 10-15mins.
  • You can add more ingredients such as m&m's, brownies, or fruits.
